1. What are the types of Financio Accounts Available?
- Financio Premium + Free Trial
Customers who sign up for Financio Premium (Premierbiz Account) under the Maybank SMEs Current Account promotion will enjoy a 90-day Free Trial from date of account activation (get more information here).
- Forever Free
The Financio Forever Free plan is really free forever (feature limitations apply – find more information here), Maybank FlexiBiz customers can choose to upgrade to Financio Premium plan anytime during the account activation. Accounts will be upgraded immediately, and they will enjoy the free trial period as well as the extended trial period.
2. Can I upgrade my Free Forever account to Premium?
Customers wishing to upgrade to Financio Premium will be required to forward a GIRO form which will be made available in the Financio App, within 30 days after they upgrade to facilitate with the upcoming subscription fee from your Maybank account to avoid service interruption.
3. What happens after my 3 months free trial for Maybank's Premierbiz plan?
As part of the Maybank SMEs Current Account promotion, PremierBIZ Current Account are complemented with a 90-day Free Trail of Financio Premium, upon completion of the 90 day free trial, a discounted subscription fee of SGD$8.00 (RRP: SGD$9.95) will be charged by ABSS/Financio.
The subscription fee of SGD$8.00 will be reimburse back by Maybank into your Maybank PremierBiz account Maybank each month up until day 365. The subscription fee will then be reduced to SGD$6.00 per month thereafter. Subscribers can decide to downgrade the subscription to the Forever Free Plan (get more information here) or cancel at any time.
4. How do I make payment for my monthly subscription fees?
As part of the Maybank – Financio collaboration, all subscribers that sign up under the Maybank SMEs Current Account promotion for Financio Premium, will have their subscription fees deducted from their Maybank account. Refer to above info for Maybank PremierBiz.
A Maybank-Financio GIRO form has to be completed and mailed in to Maybank and /or emailed to Financio, details can be obtained over Maybank counters or during the upgrade process.
If Maybank PremierBiz customer do not have sufficient funds in their current account for the subscription fee collection via GIRO. ABSS/Financio reserves the right to immediately Downgrade to Free Forever plan or cancel / terminate the service where required.
5. How do I cancel my premium subscription?
You can end your Premium subscription and revert to a Forever Free account at any time in a few easy steps, just make sure you have Company Administrator access.
Before you cancel, we recommend that you print all Financio financial reports that you might need. You’re able to retain your profile, connections, and other data. However, you will lose access to all Premium features (get more information here)
Note: If you sign up for a free trial and cancel, you won’t be eligible to sign up for another free trial for at least 12 months. For more information about cancelling your Premium subscription.
For more information about cancelling your Premium subscription:
- In order to avoid getting charged for the next billing period, you need to cancel at least thirty (30) days before the billing date.
- You can still use Financio as normal during the notice period to make sure everything’s in order before your subscription ends.
- Cancellation will end billing and remove your access to any Premium features at the end of your current billing cycle.
- If you were on a plan, promotion, or price that is no longer offered, you won’t be able to re-purchase that same plan again or re-purchase at the promotional price.
6. What will happen to my accounts data if I end my premium subscription?
When you cancel a subscription, we archive your organisation’s data. However, we recommend you export any data you want to retain access to before the end of the notice period. ABSS requires a minimum of 30 days’ notice is required for any subscription cancellation.
Once your subscription is cancelled, you can still login to Financio to use the Forever Free service. If you want to reactivate your Premium subscription or to get access to your organisation’s data again, contact Financio Support at Financio Support
1. Dormant/Inactive Service
If Maybank FlexiBiz customers with the Free Forever plan are not login for a period of 6 months the account will be automatically be suspended. Customers may contact firstname.lastname@example.org at any time if they require to re-activate the service.
2. Additional Terms
Customers are required to agree that Asian Business Software Solutions Pte Ltd (ABSS) may collect, use and disclose the personal data or information as obtained from their organisation registration and participation in the Promotion (“Information”), in accordance with ABSS’s Data Protection Policy.
Customers are further required to agree that the Information may be shared by ABSS to its Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) in order for Maybank to contact them by telephone call or other electronic means, in order to provide them with marketing and other promotional materials about Maybank’s products and services. They acknowledge that their Information may be processed overseas; as such they consent to Maybank and/or ABSS transferring their Information outside of Singapore.
By using these services from Maybank and ABSS, customers agree that Maybank and ABSS can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies.
